Introduce your students to one of the most beloved children’s book characters with this reading skills program based on the Paddington movie. Students learn about characterization and story structure, and create their own adventure story.

The Secret Life of Denim

(Sample U.S. Program)

Grades: Elementary Grades 2-4

Subject Area: Language Arts, Math, STEM

Explore how denim “grows” from the cotton plant. With help from a young cotton “boll” named Baxter, students learn about the lifecycle of cotton, the many ways cotton is used, and how recycled cotton denim is transformed into new products.

Summer Reads!

Subject Area: Language Arts, Reading

Students explore new book genres for a summer reading adventure! This program includes activities, a game and a book list with descriptions of popular kids’ titles in adventure/mystery, fantasy, graphic novels, and realistic fiction.

Dairy Math

(Sample U.S. Program)

Grades: Elementary Grades 2-4

Subject Area: Math, STEM, Health

Help dairy farmers as they calculate how much to feed their herd, how many gallons of milk are produced, how much energy they can save by using technology effectively, and more. Students also use USDA MyPlate guidelines for planning healthy meals.

Skin Science

Introduce your students to careers in dermatology — a field that is growing in numbers, practice, and diversity — as they explore skin care for different skin types and test their analytical skills with a variety of dermatological case studies.

Mealtime Economics explores meal options from freezer to fridge. Teach students the importance of healthy food choices, the connection between food costs and meal planning, money management, and doing their part to reduce food waste.

Grades: Elementary Grades 3-5

Subject Area: Health, Science, STEM

Teach students the steps for proper wound care. Students learn how the skin repairs itself, explore the body’s circulatory system, and conduct an experiment to see how bacteria can multiply. Includes a first aid kit checklist for parents.
