Take your students on a creative writing adventure with this free program inspired by The Call of the Wild, a new film from 20th Century Studios. The film brings to the screen the classic story of Buck, a dog suddenly uprooted from his home and transplanted to the exotic wilds of the Canadian Yukon during the Gold Rush of the 1890s. Using examples from the film about the relationship between animals and humans, character transformation, and conflict, students will be inspired to imagine their own adventure stories. The Call of the Wild arrives in theaters on February 21, 2020.
