Stimulate your students’ “ecomagination” with these environmental science programs designed for classrooms and community youth groups. The classroom teaching kit features simple experiments that explore wind power, solar power, the water cycle, and the effects of greenhouse gases. The student magazine includes articles on clean energy, a do-it-yourself desalinization experiment, and puzzles that teach the importance of recycling. Make Me Green and its companion community service program take learning outside the classroom with game show-style activities that teach kids (and parents) some easy ways to save energy and water in their own homes.
