From Farm to Table for Sustainable Nutrition

Introduce your students to how dairy farmers and their cows bring families the dairy foods they enjoy. With this series of five teaching kits, students will learn why dairy is an important part of a balanced diet, find out how milk goes from local dairy farms to their kitchen table, and discover how dairy farmers use technology, science, and sustainable practices to help keep their cows healthy and protect the environment. Each kit includes a teacher’s guide, activities, posters, and academic standards.
