Teach your young music fans the rules of digital citizenship with this multi-disciplinary copyright education program. Students calculate the costs of “songlifting,” examine its impact on those who make a career in music, practice digital decision-making, and tap into their own musical talents to create a rap about respect for intellectual property. Bonus activities invite students to chart the sound of music in their lives and plan a pro-music campaign. Includes a take-home booklet for parents with a mini-poster on Internet safety.
