Grades: Elementary & Middle (K-8)

Subject Area: STEM, Math, English Language Arts

Made Possible By: nWave Pictures Distribution

Take your students on a nature adventure with activities based on the film The Search for Snow. Students will explore how weather patterns affect types of snow, where it falls, and why, as well as its importance to our water systems, life cycles, and economies. Students will learn how regions across the globe are connected through water and precipitation, challenging them to think critically about problems facing society as humans seek to find sustainable ways to support the environment. Includes separate lesson sets for grades K-2, 3-5, and 6-8.
