Be part of a once-in-a-lifetime television experience when NBC broadcasts a spectacular live performance of The Sound of Music on Thursday, December 5, at 8pm (7pm CT). The study guide includes activities that students complete before, during, and after the broadcast, both in class and with their families, as they reflect on their “favorite things” about this family classic, examine its story and musical structure, and create a journal scrapbook to always remember this landmark television event.
