Versatile Valentine’s Hearts

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and what better way to celebrate than with some heart-filled fun! We’ve got three versatile ideas that will make this Valentine’s Day extra special for you and your students.

First up, why not create a heartwarming game of tic-tac-toe using Valentine’s hearts as playing pieces? Students can decorate the hearts with their favorite colors and designs and cut them out (you can choose to make them into squares or stick with the classic heart shape). On the back of each heart, students write the name of a person, place, or thing they love. Then, they can challenge each other to a game of Tic-Tac-Toe on a homemade gameboard using these adorable hearts as markers!

Looking to add some love-themed decor to your classroom? Punch holes in the hearts and string them together with colorful yarn to create a beautiful garland. Hang it up to spread the Valentine’s Day cheer.

Lastly, get crafty with accordion-style Valentine’s Day cards. Have students cut the images into two strips, decorate the hearts to their heart’s content, write what they love on the back, and fold the strips along the lines to create unique and heartfelt cards for their friends and family.

With these three fun ideas, you’ll be sure to have a Valentine’s Day filled with love, laughter, and creativity! Happy crafting!
