Each year, more than 60,000 young children age 5 and younger — roughly four busloads of kids each day — end up in emergency departments after getting into medicines that were left within reach. Arm the parents and caregivers in your school community with safe medicine storage tips via this program from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s PROTECT Initiative. Cold and flu season is upon us. Use these posters and info sheets to help make sure that medicines get stored up and away and out of sight!
