ADANE Virtual Farm Tours On YouTube

Grades: K-12

Subject Area: Language Arts, Health, STEM

Made Possible By: American Dairy Association North East (ADANE)

Take your students to a dairy farm with a virtual farm tour. Some tours are designed for students in Pre-K to grade 5 and cover the three primary areas of the farm: where the calves live, where the cows live, and where the cows are milked. While exploring these areas of the farm, the tour guide also incorporates key curricula from our free lesson plans. Tours for grades 6-12 take a deeper look into one or two locations on the farm, covering that area in detail. Through all tours, students will get an overview of where their favorite dairy foods come, and discover how farmers use technology and experts to provide the highest care for animals and land. Virtual Farm Tours are reviewed and evaluated to determine curriculum standards met by each tour.
