Paper Grows Trees

Grades: K-6

Subject Area: Environmental Science, Language Arts, Math

Made Possible By: Boise Paper

Help your students discover why using wood-based products — especially paper — is key to maintaining healthy forests across the country. An expanded K-3 program helps students learn how wood-based products like paper help support sustainable forest management practices while providing economic, social, and environmental benefits through activities like recycling. Students in grades 4-6 learn why paper is one of the most recycled resources on the planet, and how recycling paper and cardboard products helps protect the environment and set our society on the path to a sustainable future.
